Zetrix Confirms All JPJ Services Suspended With No Duration Stipulated

Zetrix AI Bhd has confirmed that the suspension of its Road Transport Department (JPJ) services will temporarily remove their contribution to the group’s revenue and profit for the fourth quarter of FY2026, as it works with the authorities to resolve outstanding remittances.

In a reply to queries from Bursa Malaysia, Zetrix AI confirmed recent media reports concerning the suspension and the outstanding sums owed to JPJ, but said the final outstanding amount is still being discussed and finalised with the department.

The company said the notice from JPJ was dated Oct 2 and was published on the department’s official social media platform that morning. The suspension took effect on Oct 5.

The affected services comprise road tax renewals, Competent Driving Licence renewals, Learner’s Driving Licence applications, summons enquiries and payments, vehicle ownership transfers, and the Malaysian Computerised Driving Theory Test (KPP01).

Zetrix AI said the suspension arose from delays in remitting collections to JPJ.

Media reports subsequently cited Transport Minister Anthony Loke as saying the arrears amounted to RM314 million for the period from May to September 2026. Zetrix AI said the outstanding amount nevertheless remains subject to finalisation between the company and JPJ.

The company said there is currently no confirmed duration for the suspension, with reinstatement depending on the completion of discussions involving Zetrix AI, JPJ, the Ministry of Transport and other relevant government authorities.

It expects the temporary suspension to be lifted if the parties mutually agree to and accept the proposed solution framework submitted by the company.

Zetrix AI said it is actively engaging with the authorities to resolve the matter as quickly as possible and minimise operational downtime.

The affected JPJ services will remain suspended until further notice.

Zetrix AI also disclosed that it has submitted a payment proposal to JPJ to settle the outstanding amount.

However, the proposed settlement remains subject to further discussions and agreement on both the final amount owed and the payment terms.

The company said it would make further announcements once a formal timeline or resolution has been confirmed.
