Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) has temporarily suspended its services to depositors after detecting suspicious cyber activity on Oct 7.
According to the statement on X, TH said the suspension was a precautionary measure as it conducts comprehensive monitoring of its systems and strengthens security measures.
The pilgrimage fund said it is working with relevant agencies, including the National Cyber Security Agency and CyberSecurity Malaysia, to address the incident.
TH said depositors’ savings and personal data remain safe and protected, adding that the security of their funds and information remains its priority.
The institution apologised for the disruption and said updates on the status of service recovery would be provided through its official channels.
