MIHAS 2018 Gains Strong Support

The Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2018 is returning for its 15th edition which is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 April 2018 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

This year, MIHAS managed to attract support from various stakeholders within the halal ecosystem, where the respective organisations will be expected to have booths during he exhibition. According to Dr. Mohd Shahreen Zainooreen Madros, Chief Executive Officer of MATRADE, the encouraging support from various loval and international companies is evident that global players are increasingly recognising the value of investing MIHAS.

“The addition of new strategic partners in this year’s exhibition will translate to a wider range of opportunities and exposure from both exhibitors an visitors,” he adds.

MIHAS 2018 also offers a very strong line up of programmes which includes conferences and seminars to encourage greater business opportunities. So far, a total of more than 800 exhibitors have confirmed their participation, with 45% of them is foreign participation coming from 41 countries. The top six countries with the largest country pavilions are India, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Iran and China.

Since its inception, MIHAS has gathered approximately 350,000 visitors from 70 nations, 6,500 companies from 35 companies and generated more than US$4 billion sales, making it the premier halal event and a game changer in the global halal arena.

MIHAS 2018 is a component of the World Halal Week 2018 (26 March – 7 April 2018), comprising two other components which are The World Halal Conference (WHC) 2018 and the Malaysia International Halal Assemble (MyHA).
