Public can renew their motorcycle insurance online via JomCover.my

Transport Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, has urged the public to renew their motor insurance and driving license
online via MyEG or MySikap as reported by The Star.

Temporarily, road tax issuance services have been suspended during this MCO period.

However, Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) has confirmed insurance coverage in the event a vehicle is driven or ridden without a valid road tax as long as the motorists continue to have a valid motor insurance policy during the said period.

In response to this particular news, Finology Sdn Bhd (Finology) would like to highlight that motorcycle insurance is not available on the said platforms.

In a bid to reduce the risk that they are exposed on the road during these trying times, especially to those who might work as frontliners e.g. the food delivery runners, Finology wants to alert the Malaysian motorcyclists that they can renew motorcycle insurance through the JomCover.my website.

JomCover.my is an online platform to allowing users to renew their car and motorcycle insurance. Users will just have to fill in the details needed, compare quotations and choose the preferred insurer. The cover note will be issued instantly upon payment.
