RHB confirms another Covid-19 positive employee

RHB Banking Group (RHB) has confirmed that one of its employees from RHB Islamic Bank – Cawangan Kelana Jaya, in Petaling Jaya has tested positive for Covid-19. The affected employee had been placed on home-quarantine since March 26, and was confirmed Covid-19 positive on April 8.

The affected branch has been temporarily closed from March 25 until the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, and deep cleaning and sanitization activities have been carried out in accordance with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia guidelines.

As an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected person had been placed on home- quarantine.

The bank has assured that they have taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and the community.

Previously, the bank had confirmed two of its employees, both from RHB Islamic Bank – Cawangan Jalan Satok, in Kuching have tested positive for COVID-19.

Both affected employees had been placed under home quarantine since March 18 and March 23,respectively.
