BBW book sale goes online with Shopee

The Big Bad Wolf Book sale now brings Malaysians more reading galore through its exclusive partnership with the e-commerce platform, Shopee.

The partnership will see additional price slashes on ten acclaimed titles such as Harry Potter Movie Magic Bundle, Little Red Riding Hood, Star Wars The Force Awakens Lightsaber Adventure, and many more.

These are exclusively available on Shopee from November 11 to 14. Apart from these deals, shoppers can also enjoy other promotions such as books under RM10, 25 percent Shopee Coins Cashback Vouchers, an additional 10 percent discount with a minimum purchase of RM100, as well as free shipping vouchers with a minimum purchase of RM40.

“With the Covid-19 pandemic and ongoing movement restrictions, we believe Malaysians will be spending most of their time at home, shopping on e-commerce platforms.

This partnership with Shopee allows two most loved brands to reach out to more Malaysians as well as inculcate a passion for reading, which reflects Big Bad Wolf Books’ mission as a passionate reading advocate organisation,” said Andrew Yap, the Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books.

While the Sale offers brand-new quality books and savings up to 90 percent off recommended retail prices, the exclusive deals on Shopee will be the icing on the cake for many Malaysians nationwide.

To date, more than 1.5 million shoppers have flocked to the Big Bad Wolf book sale via Shopee.

“It is humbling to know that we have been chosen to house this book fair to reach the millions of customers that are on our platform. This is especially so as schools are closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and with our free shipping and integrated logistics services, parents and children can get books delivered right to their doorstep.

This is a good time to instill the habit of reading among our young ones with a wide assortment of genres that will spark creativity and knowledge-building. This is only the first chapter with Big Bad Wolf Books, and we look forward to penning many more chapters together,” said Ian Ho, the Regional Managing Director of Shopee.
