Bond Holdings collaborates with two parties to attract more business tourists to Ipoh

Property developer Bond Holdings Sdn Bhd has signed an exclusive collaboration with Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI), city council, and Sycal Berhad, a construction group to transform Ipoh into the city of the future with new world luxuries.

The collaboration is aimed at taking Ipoh to greater heights to attract more business tourists to the city and benefiting its citizens.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Saarani bin Mohamad, Chief Minister of Perak Darul Ridzuan amidst a full standard operating procedure (SOP) on social distancing.

The focal point of the collaboration will begin with the management of the Ipoh International Convention Centre (IICC) a 28,000 sq ft facility that includes a multi-purpose events hall – to accommodate annual dinners, corporate talks, trade exhibitions, community bazaars, conferences, workshops – and a retail environment, all integrated within one roof.

“We are excited to work with Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) who is the catalyst in its vision to create a cleaner, greener, and a developed city, and Sycal Berhad the main contractor for this ambitious project.

This significant milestone is a pledge for a strong commitment on our part to work together towards our common goals,” Ong Teng Boon, Chief Executive Officer, Bond Holdings Sdn Bhd said.

“It is an honour to work alongside a team such as Bond Holdings Sdn Bhd and Sycal Berhad to conceptualise the vision of a greater city, one that will eventually put Ipoh on the map as an economic driver for the state of Perak.

To top it off, a clean and beautiful Ipoh, perfect for a new business culture that we truly welcome,” Rumaizi bin Baharin @Md Daud, Mayor of Ipoh said.

Additionally, Bond Holdings also manages the brand new luxurious Bond Suites – an open concept suite designed to reflect a sense of style overlooking the spectacular view of limestone hills and historic landmarks, accompanied by a range of on-site facilities designed to offer the perfect lifestyle.

Connected with Bond Suites, is the Ipoh International Convention Centre Co-Working Space an ideal facility for young professionals who want to live and work to the fullest and enjoy the exuberance of the city in their daily lives. It comes with an ultra-fast Internet connection, shared amenities, and an excellent networking environment.
