MCT dispatches seven new projects to create upward development in 2021

MCT’s maiden luxury residences, Aetas Damansara, is meticulously designed to elevate urban living experiences through its bespoke designs and world-class fittings

MCT Berhad (MCT) has predicted a stronger performance in 2021.

Seven new projects have been launched to gear MCT for this year, comprising residential units and commercial projects with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM2.2 billion.

Teh Heng Chong, the MCT Chief Executive Officer (CEO), commented that the recovery of the global economy following the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out, presented good buying opportunities for the homebuyers.

Not to mention the low interest rate and the reintroduction of the Home Ownership Campaign.

He also added on recognising the uncertainties have changed the product offerings to support future growth and build business resiliency.

“Moving forward, we aim to expand our development footprint, targeting prime areas within the Klang Valley to reach out to the various market segments. MCT are actively pursuing joint venture and land acquisition chances to drive for future growth” said the MCT CEO.

The Group has listed Aetas Damansara to be officially launched in January 2021. This property will be the “beacon” project in setting the pace for MCT in 2021.

Sitting on RM564 million GDV, this maiden luxury project is jointly curated with Ayala Land, Inc.

This echoed with MCT’s new vision to set a new benchmark of living spaces anchored on three elements: bespoke design, efficient space planning, and best-class-fittings.

Reviewing the Group’s performance in 2020, Teh elaborated MCT achieved a record high of over 3,053 completed units handed over to homeowners of:

·        Selangorku PR1MA Lakefront Homes

·        Lakefront Residence (Phase Two) in Lakefront Cyberjaya

·        Casa Bluebell and Casawood landed residential developments in Cybersouth township.
