Lagenda Addresses B40 Plight Through Relief Efforts Worth RM140,000

Lagenda Properties has reached out to the B40 family segment in Bandar Baru Setia Awan Perdana (BBSAP) to distribute daily essentials across 700 households valued at RM40,000.

“The majority of the residents fall within the B40 segment, with many households earning below RM2,600 even before being hit by the pandemic. Situations were challenging for many families and the continuation of the pandemic was not easy for the community, which is why we wanted to play our part to lighten their burdens,” Jimmy Doh Jee Ming, Managing Director, Lagenda Properties said.

“The government has pledged support for the B40 segment through initiatives such as the RM1.2 billion allocation in the Budget 2021. Whilst it goes towards developing low-income households, private companies like ours must work together to contribute to the efforts,” he added.

The developer is committed to continue such efforts throughout the year to aid the affected. “These efforts were kick-started with the pandemic last year, we are eager to see continuity with these CSR efforts, and to be able to aid more of those in need,” Doh further added.

Lagenda Properties is focused on catering for the affordable home segment and has championed the B40 community for over 31 years. Their experience has allowed them to sell up to 90 percent of the townships, pricing it below RM200,000 complete with lifestyle facilities.
