Braun Büffel Embodies The “Micro/Macro” With Its Fall/Winter 2021 Collection

Braun Büffel is known for finesse in leather crafting and innovation. For the Fall/Winter 2021 season, it continues its legacy, albeit with a twist.

Braun Büffel invites us to explore beyond the headspace of the past year and let the mind wander – to discover the endless possibilities within, and to experiment finding the conditions for the most beautiful and symmetrically perfect outcomes.

As part of Braun Büffel’s latest collection, called “Micro/Macro,” Creative Director Fabio Panzeri explores the principle of contrast, encouraging us to view the world with an ever-changing perspective and to create an infinity of patterns. The collection embraces a “Metamodernism” approach, which sees the classicism of the Italian tradition for leather goods combined with German engineering and architectural innovation to present a range of renewed classics with a rebellion against proportions.

THE COLLECTION

The light-heartedness of the “Micro/Macro” Collection is reflected in the texture and colours of the pieces. The contemporary character of the season is made from a genuine love of reassuring classics, juxtaposed with a passion for modernist furniture design and time-honoured German engineering.

Investigating concepts of reliving the past with tools of the future, the distinctive personalities of each collection shines through to illustrate the paradigm of being predictably unpredictable.

Futuristic silhouettes are highlighted with a vibrant colour palette, speaking of the kaleidoscopic awe that is seen through the classicism of traditional Italian craftsmanship fused with architectural innovation.

This Fall/Winter 2021 season, Braun Büffel undoubtedly reflects a shift of mood by putting the joy back into getting dressed. Classic pieces that act as an extension of the past year’s collection are also brought back as part of the ensemble.

Established in 1887 by Johann Braun in Kirn, Germany, Braun Büffel has gained its reputation over the last century as a top leather goods and accessories brand. Until today, it remains a premium brand known for exceptional workmanship, superior leather, classic elegance and contemporary appeal.
