Esthetics International Group Berhad which owns and operates popular beauty spa Aster Spring has successfully secured the distribution rights for American clean beauty brand, Jane Iredale.
Founded by Jane Iredale, the cosmetic brand is known for its clean beauty philosophy whereby the products are formulated with nourishing and protective ingredients like Pomegranate and Algae Extracts. The products are endorsed by dermatologists and plastics surgeons and praised its ability to soothe, cover and protect, and patients prefer them over makeup. With the agreement, EIG Derma will get the exclusive right to sell and distribute Jane Iredale cosmetic products in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines (the “Territory”) with a First Right of Refusal for Hong Kong, for an initial period of three (3) years and two months November this year.
This comes at time where more people tend to look after themselves at home rather than visiting beauty centres in fear of Covid-19, the distribution rights will place EIG comfortably for the ecommerce business as more customers head online for their cosmetic purchases.
EIG is involved in various beauty business including operating Aster Spring spa saloons, distributing professional skincare product like Dermologica and Bioxil, haircare and fast moving cosmetic goods.
