ALAM CEO, Wan Faizah Che Din

ALAM, an organisation to transform mindsets and behavioural changes across all generations, says the RMK12 reinforces Malaysia’s commitment towards a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable nation.

The organisation says the fact that it is quoted in the RMK12 shows recognition of its role, “to promote environmental education initiatives in schools and higher learning institutions.”

“As a newly formed entity, it is an honour for ALAM to be mandated with such a role for mindset transformation towards environmental development. Looking ahead, ALAM aims to collaborate with all stakeholders and give our best in shouldering this responsibility together with utmost dedication and integrity,” the organisation says in a media release.

ALAM says its core pillars are education, regulatory, collaboration, and bridging, hence promoting the adoption of behavioural changes, “is a collaborative effort of all stakeholders and encourages everyone to come together and approach ALAM to bridge their gaps in overcoming this issue.

“ALAM is looking forward to this commitment set forth by the RMK12 and aims to work alongside all stakeholders to add value to the economy and society.

“The RMK12 carries the voices of all stakeholders with its main plan to restore the economic stability of Malaysians and holistically regenerate and reinvigorate national economic growth,” it says.

The organisation also looks at the 17 UN SDGs and Malaysia’s 2030 Agenda (Wawasan Kemakmuran Bersama 2030) as a positive move that is aligned to its strategy.
