| Dataprep Holdings Bhd and its collaboration partner Asia Coding Centre Sdn Bhd had received notification from the Ministry of Health Malaysia to commence a trial run and deployment of COVID-19 Screening RT-PCR Rapid Molecular Testing at the existing MOH’s sites, including the registration, sampling, and testing until the issuance of the testing result. The deployment and operations of this integrated screening solution will be at the country’s main international entry points namely, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KLIA 2, Langkawi International Airport; Senai (Johor) International Airport and Tambak Johor (Causeway), where the government has insisted in establishing these cenres. According to the statetemet released by Dataprep, the deployment and operations of this integrated COVID-19 screening solution at the entry points would be performed jointly under its subsidiary Dataprep Sdn Bhd, following its incorporation and announcement made by the company on November this year. Both parties view the latest notification by the Ministry as a positive update as the the deployment of MiCo BioMed COVID-19 Rapid Molecular Testing Using Molecular Diagnostics Equipment is expected to contribute positively to the earnings. |
