The PR industry on its 13th edition of the Malaysia PR Awards which celebrates the best work produced by both agencies and in-house communication teams has picked Director-General of Health Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah for the Malaysia Leadership Award.
The good doctor was chosen as this year’s winner for his leadership and his team’s hard work in effectively curbing the Covid-19 outbreak in the country. According to PRCA Malaysia President Andy See, “Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham with his calm tone, consistently kept the public updated, giving interviews and working long hours reflected dedication, commitment, sacrifice, and resilience to provide the best service for the people and Nation, in facing the pandemic.
For all his achievements as one of the key personalities in steering the Nation, communicating to the public timely and effectively, holding the flag high in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, PRCA Malaysia was proud to name Tan Sri as the recipient of the PRCA Malaysia Leadership Award 2021.
After missing for 2 years due to pandemics, the MPRA is back with the event and helps elevate PRCA as a highly credible association and hopes to become the ‘goto place’ for consultation, training, and development. PRCA also supports institutions of higher learning to develop public relations practitioners of the future. Through lectures, training and internship programmes by members, it hopes to address the “gap” that exists between the supply of potential workforce and the requirements of the job market.
