Malakoff which owns and maintains the Tanjung Bin 4 power plant has pointed international technology and solution provider for the energy sector RJM International to audit its power plant and subsequently appoint the firm to work on those findings.
RJM International conducted a Combustion Audit of the facility and now has been commissioned by the plant owner to build on the findings of the audit and carry out a full Combustion Tuning Project to improve combustion performance. The 1,000MW plant, commissioned in 2016, is a T-fired GE/Alstom ultra-supercritical unit, firing sub-bituminous coal.
