Sime Darby Property Spotlight 8 Campaign Draws RM1.83 Billion In Sales Booking

Sime Darby Property Bhd’s successful annual Spotlight 8 Campaign proved to be a hit yet again as the promotion garnered a total sales booking with an accumulated Gross Development Value of RM1.83 billion.

The township developer added that newly launched products totaling RM1.4 billion contributed the most to the successful campaign which ran from Aug 28, 2021, to Jan 8, 2022, these projects contributed 81 percent of the take-up. 

Additionally, existing stocks made up RM400 million, raking in 19 percent take-up of the overall sales booking. Group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican Azmi Merican who was pleased with bookings said Sime Darby Property products at each township were designed with versatile space, accessibility, and sustainable features in mind to meet the demands of homebuyers who have different needs and priorities.

“We also leveraged on our digital platforms to strategically market our products and offer customers the convenience in completing transactions online. These were key factors that led to the Spotlight 8 Campaign’s success and encourages us to continue offering the market more exciting products this year”

The property sector is looking to establish itself this year despite the lifting of HOC, pent-up demand, and 2 years held back purchasers are keen to get their first properties. This is leaving many developers to up their ante with promotions and deals that are enticing.

2022 is going to be a buyers market and Sime Darby Property will be bringing its A-game to the table.
