Advancecon Holdings Berhad announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd, had secured an RM42.5 million contract from Sime Darby Property (Bukit Raja) Sdn Bhd the sixth for the Bukit Raja 2 development in Klang, Selangor.
The company will undertake construction and completion of earthworks and other related works for sections R6, R8, R9, and C5 of Phase 2 in the development. This contract will span for 29 months, from the site possession.
Advacecon has built a strong track record with Sime Darby Property Berhad for more than six years with the latest job expanding its order book to RM691.4 million.
The group was able to bag a total of RM93.6 million new wins to date, after considering higher materials costs and the ongoing uncertainties.
Apart from Bandar Bukit Raja 2, it is also supporting Sime Darby Property’s Serenia City development project in Sepang, Selangor and SME Business Park development in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
As for the order book, the RM691.4 million includes earthworks and civil engineering services for infrastructure projects as such the East Coast Rail Link and West Coast Expressway, other property developments, as well as road, industrial, and oil & gas projects in Sarawak. Advaceconn adds the projects will sustain the Group’s earnings for the next two to three years.
