Recently, the government agreed to allow Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors to make a special withdrawal of RM10,000.
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, said the decision was made based on the results of a study among the people who are still economically affected, losing income, and are rebuilding their lives.
Recently, in a statement, the EPF announced that members who wish to withdraw their EPF savings are under the Special Withdrawals facility can do so through the pengeluarankhas.kwsp.gov.my portal, which can also be accessed through the i-Akaun mobile application starting April 1.
In addition, payment for the EPF savings Special Withdrawal will be made in one payment only and credited into the member’s savings or current bank account.
