Konsortium Transnasional Berhad has received an additional contract from Probil Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. for the supply of all plant, materials, tools, equipment, temporary works, labour, and supervision necessary for the construction and completion of the works as prescribed under the contract.
The new contract is approximately worth RM139.8 million, it will be for the work in relation to the construction and completion of 561 units houses, and shops in Desa 5, Desa 6, Desa 7, and Desa 8. Including the construction of local infrastructure works and any other works as stipulated in the tender drawings and documents.
KTB said the contract period will be within thirty-six months, the same time the work needs to be completed which also includes site clearance, earthworks, retaining wall, and preliminary works by 1 July 2024; and building works and local infrastructure works by 1 October 2024.
Led by Tan Sri Nadzmi Salleh, the contract award will contribute positively to the company which is primarily involved in transportation.
