Selangor State Government has appointed KK Super Mart supermarket as the official e-coupon agent for Smart Selangor Parking system which will no longer require scratch coupons but instead via a mobile application.
The system which went official state wide effective April 1 will require users to use their mobile devices and have sufficient credit to pay for their parking. Those who require to top up their credit or don’t have the app, can head on over to the KK Super Mart the ubiquitous supermarket for a quick top up with cash or ask the outlet to assist in making the payment on their behalf.
According to Local Government EXCO Ng Sze Han, the effort was to help people who do not have the application to buy
parking credit. He said for those who do not have the SSP application can buy parking credit at KK Super Mart and other e-coupon agents.
The State government has also said that more agents will be appointed for the convenience of consumers.
The public is advised to download the app which is available on Google Playstore, AppStore, or Huawei Store. So far a total of 29,391 scratch paper parking coupons were exchanged since the end of last month involving a value of RM17,942.20
