Pickupp Expands Its Presence Into Johor Bahru With A New PUDO Outlet

Pickupp, Asia’s smart logistics platform, has expanded its footprint in Malaysia, venturing into Johor Bahru with their latest pick-up and drop-off (PUDO) outlet in Skudai. This announcement comes as part of Pickupp’s larger plans of increasing its presence across the country with expansions to several other cities and states planned for later in the year.

This latest outlet boasts larger spaces to hold huge order capacities, offering Johor Bahru merchants and customers a quality guaranteed last-mile connectivity they can trust. Pickupp’s PUDO outlet in Johor Bahru will benefit the close to half a million online shoppers and thousands of businesses within the city, serving as a central point for parcels to be dropped off and picked up, easing deliveries for merchants and allowing shoppers to save on delivery fees.

“The e-commerce market in Malaysia is growing rapidly and the logistics industry is expanding in tandem helping to facilitate and support this monumental digital shift. On our part, Pickupp is  delivering logistics-network-as-a-service that drives last mile delivery by employing purpose built technology. Now we are looking to amplify our impact by taking our proven approach and expanding it across the country to benefit more merchants and consumers throughout Malaysia,” shares Navin Kandapper, Country Manager of Pickupp Malaysia.

Pick up and drop off (PUDO) outlets give merchants and shoppers the flexibility to deliver and retrieve their parcels from a designated, convenient and safe location. This could help ensure less risk of parcels getting damaged and lessen the chances of missing delivery hours. More than that, it also promotes sustainable e-commerce, as it helps all parties choose an option that meets both their needs and values.

Following its successful entry into the Johor market, Pickupp is already deep in plans to expand its operations to cover other southern and central states with entry into Ipoh and Melaka slated for the next quarter.

“We have seen a substantial rise in market demand throughout the pandemic and this momentum continues as consumers have become increasingly comfortable with online shopping and ordering. To meet this increase, we are strategically expanding our operations to serve more merchants and consumers who live outside of the Klang Valley,” Navin added.

Celebrating this new phase in the business and the upcoming festive season, Pickupp has introduced an ongoing Raya Promotion until 4th May 2022, offering merchants a free RM100 credit for delivery fees through the redeem code, [PICKUPPRAYA].
