OM Holdings Receive Shariah Compliant Classification From SC

OM Holdings Limited is pleased that the company has been classified as Shariah-compliant by the Shariah Advisory
Council of Securities Commission Malaysia, with immediate effect.

The Company had been working towards achieving Shariah status as part of its secondary listing strategy on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Shariah principles are broadly aligned with sustainability concepts, and being Shariah-compliant provides OMH with the opportunity to further expand its shareholder base, given the growth in Shariah-compliant funds and Shariah-compliance being a criterion for certain indices.

The Singapore based group is mostly involved in mining and raw mineral activities, operations are both local and regional.
