Tebrau- Singapore KTM Shuttle Service To Resume

With the opening of borders between Singapore and Malaysia the crucial public transport link that drives economic activity will also need to be restarted.

After air flights, Causeway, and Tuas all have been opened for more than 3 months, the KTM-operated shuttle service from Tebrau Johor Bharu Sentral into Woodlands will now also see resumption from June 13 onward. According to Transport Minister, Dato Seri Wee Ka Siong, the service being suspended since 2020 will start ferrying passengers to and fro, further reconnecting severed links that were vital in pre-pandemic times.

This is also seen as timely with traffic between the links having been increasing causing much-unwanted congestion along the routes. Many locals use the shuttle service as a convenient mode of transport into Singapore and vice versa due to affordable ticket prices.

However, time schedule for the reopened route is still not available on KTM website.
