Uzma Receives RM42 Million Contract From PTTEP Thailand

Uzma has received a contract award valued at RM42 million or US$10 million, from PTTEP Group for the provision of hydraulic workover unit services for a period of three years.

PTTEP is Thailand’s national petroleum company, the contract’s scope of work comprises of Hydraulic Workover Unit and associated equipment service required for Workover and Well Services activities at onshore Thailand.

Uzma adds the contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company as it does not involve the issuance of ordinary shares in the Company. However, it is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2022 and onwards until the expiry of the Contract.
