Sunway Malls marks 25 years this year when its first mall Sunway Pyramid began operation in July 1995.
The group of malls kicked off the celebrations with a grand 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration dinner in the newly refurbished Sunway Resort Hotel, alongside an award-giving ceremony for retailers who have been with Sunway Malls for 25 years.
HC Chan, Sunway Malls & Theme Parks CEO shares, “For Sunway Malls, the last 25 years have been both a remarkable and gratifying journey. We began operations in 1997 with Sunway Pyramid’s 1 million square feet NLA. Today, we have scaled up to 7 malls with a combined 5 million square feet NLA. Hopefully, over the next 5 years, we endeavour to double both that number of malls and its NLA.”
To commemorate this occasion, Sunway Malls are running special activities for customers throughout the month with special prizes and giveaways.
