Pestech International Berhad which appealed against the High Court’s decision to dismiss its earlier application for an interim injunction against Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay a company owned by YTL Group, has been dismissed by the Appeals Court.
In an announcement today, the company said the appeal filed to restrain SPYTL from trespassing, utilising or otherwise tampering with machineries belonging to it was dismissed, Pestech was also ordered to pay RM15,000.00.
The case refers to a project where both parties were involved in worth RM399 million, this was awarded in September 2018 to PTech from SPYTL under the SIPP-YTL JV — a consortium between SIPP Rail Sdn Bhd and SPYTL. However, the contract was later terminated.
