Ajiya’s Turnover Dips Due To Lower Demand In Group’s Product Locally And Overseas

Ajiya Bhd achieved a pre-tax profit of RM13.072 million on the back of a turnover of RM77.440 million for the second quarter ending May 31, 2022, from a pre-tax profit of RM10.098 million on the back of a turnover of RM80.673 million.

In a Bursa filing, it said for the quarter under review the Group achieved a revenue of RM77.440 million, which was 4.0% lower compared to the preceding year’s corresponding quarter of RM80.673 million. The decrease was due to lower demand for the Group’s products locally and overseas.

Moving forward, the Group will continue with its efforts in making its operations more efficient and undertake various measures to reduce operating costs and improve its revenue for sustainable long-term growth.
