With regards to the suit filed by Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad, against Capital A’s subsidiary, AirAsia Berhad, together with AirAsia X Berhad in relation to MASSB’s claim for Passenger Services Charges and suit filed by AAB and AAX, where MASSB is named as the respondent, in relation to AAB’s and AAX’s claim for the sum of RM479.7million, Capital A has informed Bursa that the legal proceedings have been discontinued.
Capital A announces that pursuant to the Notices of Discontinuance filed on 9 August 2022, AAB and AAX have discontinued the following legal proceedings against MASSB.
It also informs that accordingly MAHB and its subsidiary, MASSB, have discontinued Kuala Lumpur High Court Civil Suit against AAB, AAX, CEO Riad Asmat and Benyamin Bin Ismail which had been filed on 19 February 2019.
With the filing of the aforesaid Notices of Discontinuance, the Company announces that these legal proceedings between AAB and AAX and MAHB and MASSB have been discontinued.
