KPJ Healthcare Managing Director Resigns After 4 Months

KPJ Healthcare has announced that its Managing Director Dato Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh who was appointed in April 2022 has stepped down from the executive role with immediate effect.

He took over from Ahmad Shahizam Mohd Shariff, who left the group in June 2022 this year after declining to renew his contract.

Dato’ Mohd Shukrie was from Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad since 2019 as its Chief Operating Officer and later on assumed the role of Group CEO where he has been instrumental in steering the Group through the worst period of the pandemic and sustaining the MAHB’s operation and financial stability. The KPJ board welcomed him for his experience and to help KPJ Healthcare to continue its sustainable growth and long-term strategic plans.

Prior to his appointment to MAHB he was with AirAsia’s Redbox Logistics as its Chief Executive Officer and later on as the Chief Operating Officer for AirAsia Malaysia.

He has cited pursuing personal interests as his reason for leaving the healthcare group.
