Multiplier Announces Streamlined Onboarding Process with New IT Assets & Equipment Feature

The global employment platform, Multiplier has announced a first of its kind IT assets and equipment feature that helps automate the purchase, setup and return of assets such as laptops, monitors, headsets and more to streamline operations for global companies that hire overseas employees.

Having entered the market in 2020, Multiplier makes it easier for companies to employ teams internationally without the need to register a legal entity. With over 150 entities established worldwide, Multiplier simplifies the employment process by managing the complexities of local labour laws, compliance, employment contracts, payroll, benefits, taxes and more, all wrapped up in an easy-to-use SaaS solution.

The latest equipment offering means employers looking to hire across borders need not worry about the logistics of IT equipment in foreign countries. Using a cloud service, customers can select from an online catalogue of hardware products available for employees world-wide where local prices and availability are displayed in real-time. Employers can then browse the catalogue and order the devices they need for their work on a self-service basis without having to expend the cost up front and wait for a reimbursement.

This allows companies to keep track of invoice payments, delivery status’ and the serial number and model of the purchased equipment that has been assigned to each employee, all in one single-view dashboard.

“We are delighted to be the first Employer of Record (EOR) provider to extend such an in-demand feature to a global audience. Remote work democratises talent and offers a better quality of life. But it can also raise challenges for employers, which is where Multiplier comes in. We pride ourselves on building solutions that simplify the lives of our customers.”

“With our all-new IT assets and equipment feature, customers can streamline the onboarding process which supports employee engagement and retention, all whilst leaving the hassle of logistics and reimbursements to us.” – Vamsi Krishna, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Multiplier.

Employers who wish to order a laptop model or other equipment that is not readily available on the platform may do so by submitting a specific request on the platform. Multiplier can service any commercially available laptop model, subject to availability.

Multiplier’s laptop feature is currently available in more than 55 countries across APAC, EMEA, the US and LATAM.
