NCT Group had inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microsoft in Malaysia to support NCT Group in the digitalisation of the upcoming NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Selangor.

The MoU serves as a starting point for NCT Group to explore Microsoft’s cloud network and advanced data management solutions for NCT and its future tenants at NSIP. The Group aims to look into Internet of Things (IoT), data architecture, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) along with edge computing, all of which will be beneficial to NSIP to drive efficiency and productivity through this collaboration.

On top of that, NCT Group intends to leverage Microsoft’s Enterprise Skilling Program to deliver hands-on training of Microsoft technologies to spur greater digital savviness for the tenants at NSIP. Certified candidates will be awarded a globally recognized certification, testament to their digital competencies, while being part of the Microsoft MEET Community, which provides access to the latest news on employability and digital talent acquisition.

“NSIP is a visionary project, and it is our commitment to continuously explore new avenues that will enable us to add value to our business, in the best interest of our future tenants.  We are proud to explore this collaboration with Microsoft, a trusted technology player, as we build a smart, holistic, and comprehensive industrial park,” Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy, Founder and Group Managing Director of NCT Group remarked.

“We look forward to working together to accelerate the NSIP project and to realize the opportunities technology can bring for Malaysian people and organizations,” K Raman, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia commented.
