After two years of awarding The 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs (100 MIYE) held virtually following the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO), it was held physically again at Subang Skypark, Private Air Hanger on October 21.
100MIYE is an award ceremony that recognizes the 100 most influential young entrepreneurs.
100MIYE Organizing Chairman, Datuk KK Chua, said that this award ceremony was held to highlight and recognize the best, brilliant, passionate and innovative young entrepreneurs in the business they are engaged in.
“To be a successful entrepreneur that can be raised as an icon is not easy.
“They will definitely always face various new challenges and competition. Only those who have the right attitude, determination, and seriousness in their business will be successful.
“Entrepreneurs need to have high commitment, responsibility, and commitment in their respective businesses,” he said.
Datuk KK Chua said, 100MIYE is an annual event organized by Entrepreneur Insight magazine and this is the seventh time it has been organized.
However, he is clear that for 2020 and 2021, the organization of 100MIYE will be done virtually following the MCO.
He said again, 100MIYE is not just about giving awards but building a community of entrepreneurs to share views and opinions in the field of business.
“To further strengthen this community of business partners, the winners are also eligible to participate in a three-day, two-night retreat (Private Business Networking Retreat for 3D2N) to build a business network, share information and further form business partnerships.
“The main goal of 100MIYE is to give recognition to entrepreneurs who are really successful in addition to strengthening and strengthening relationships among entrepreneurs,” he said.
Earlier, this award was won by well-known artists and celebrities in the country including, Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza, Datuk Nicole David, Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Shila Amzah and Fattah Amin.
100MIYE NOMINATION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Candidates must be 45 years old and below, and open to men and women.
• He must hold the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Managing Director.
• Be in the management of the company for a minimum of two years and have a controlling interest in the majority of the company.
• The company must be running a legitimate business with an annual turnover of RM3 million and above.
YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR FUND
This fund is an initiative for young talents in the business field through the involvement of prominent businessmen who will share their experience and act as mentors.
