FBM KLCI Shed 1% On Cautious Mood

Bursa Malaysia ended the Tuesday morning trading session in negative territory with the FBM KLCI had fallen 1.02%, or 14.92 points, to 1,445.46, from Monday’s closing, 1,460.38.

The movement of the main index is in linewith the performance of regional peers as investor sentiment has become cautious on global uncertainties.

On the broader market, decliners outnumbered gainers 460 to 255, while 359 counters were unchanged.

Trading volume and value were registered at 1.61 billion units and RM720.37 million, respectively.

Some of the top gainers of the morning session were Malaysian Pacific Industries, Sam Engineering & Equipment, Khind Industries, Advanced Packaging Technology, Seni Jaya Corp.

While some of the top losers were Kuala Lumpur Kepong, PETRONAS Dagangan, F&N, Carlsberg Malaysia and Hextar Technologies.
