UMW Group’s Equipment Division has opened a new integrated customer centre in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam which will house the service centres for its heavy equipment, industrial equipment as well as industrial power businesses with a total of 150 employees.
The centre sits on 1.2 acres of land, with 25,000 square feet of shopfloor and another 10,000 square feet of office space. UMW equipment division distributes leading products from renowned brands which include among others Komatsu, Bomag, Rosenbauer, Tennant as well as Toyota material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks and others.
It’s a place for customers to explore and appreciate its products, automation solutions and services. And also a parts warehouse and equipment service and repair centre as well as related activities such as the call centre, material handling training circuit and a circuit for forklift operator training.
