Niche Capital Emas Holdings has announced that its joint venture partners Jayamas Mining Sdn Bhd and Spate Precious Metals Sdn Bhd had notified that the Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains Kelantan i.e. the Kelantan Department of Mineral and Geoscience had approved the gold alluvial operational mining scheme for a period of two years.
The retrospective approval will take into effect from August 2022 to August 2024 encompassing the entire Sokor North Area of approximately 547.4 hectares, subject to certain terms and conditions contained in the OMS.
The group said with the approval for the OMS obtained, the commencement of gold alluvial mining operation in Sokor North Area is now pending the approval of the environmental management plan by the Jabatan Alam Sekitar Negeri Kelantan i.e. the Kelantan Department of Environment, which is currently in progress
