ZTE recently demonstrated its 5G applications at the Connected Industries Day event organised by Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) at the Eastin Hotel, Penang.
Leveraging its record-breaking achievement for the world’s fastest 5G live trial in October 2023, ZTE presented its capabilities to deliver remarkable speeds of up to 28Gbps, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
The event, themed “Transforming Manufacturing with 5G and AI,” was officiated by the Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo. The gathering brought together industry leaders and experts to explore the transformative potential of 5G technology in smart manufacturing.
During the event, ZTE unveiled its “Digitalising Factories with Advanced Industrial Innovations” initiative, which showcased the transformative power of 5G in revolutionising manufacturing processes.
Key highlights included the introduction of the 5G Smart Campus Intelligent Operations Center and the 5G Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), demonstrating how these technologies can enhance operational efficiency and productivity in manufacturing settings.
