Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the Caretaker Prime Minister, has announced November 18 and 19 public holidays.
He stated that the special holiday was instituted to encourage people to fulfil their civic duty and vote on Saturday.
He made the announcement at the Congress of Unions of Employees in Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) groundbreaking ceremony at Presint 18 here today.
