AMFirst REIT Sees Departure Of Chief Executive Officer

AMFirst Real Estate Investment Trust has confirmed the departure of its Chief Executive Officer, YM Raja Nazirin Shah who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Raja Naziin joined AMFirst in 2019 and was responsible for the group’s corporate path and strategy decisions. He acted as the main point of communication between the board of directors and corporate operations. During his stint, he managed assets worth RM1.6-billion with a net property income of RM20-million per annum, oversaw the period during the Covid-19 pandemic threats of collapsing revenue generations, identified tenants bound for closure, and realigned debt arrangements from 6 months to 1 year, which resulted in mitigation of marginal loss from PAT RM20M to RM19M over 2020/21 fiscal year.

Prior to joining AMFirst, he was the VP and Head of Commercial at PNB Merdeka Venture after heading PNB Commercial as CEO from 2011.
