Iris Corp Group CEO Resigns

Iris Corporation Berhad, a significant player in the security business especially for the government has announced the resignation of its Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Saiful Zahrin Subhan.

Shaiful who cites looking for a new venture as his reason, started his career in 1998 as a management trainee with the Renong Group (later absorbed by United Engineers Berhad), a large conglomerate with activities spanning from construction, financial services, and transportation to property development. Since then, he has gained management experience in organizations across multiple industries including IT, telecommunications, and broadcasting prior to joining IRIS.

He assumed his current role as Group Chief Executive Officer of IRIS Corporation Berhad on 16 October 2017. He is also a director of a number of subsidiaries within the group.

Shaiful holds 9.5 million ordinary shares in the group.
