DS Sigma IPO Shares Oversubscribed 25.77 Times

DS Sigma Holdings Berhad a packaging products provider, announced that the public portion of its initial public offering has been oversubscribed by 25.77 times.

The Group received a total of 13,031 applications seeking 642,581,200 DS Sigma shares, with a value of RM353,419,660.00 for the 24,000,000 new shares made available for the Malaysian public under the IPO. For the Bumiputera portion, 7,778 applications were received for 300,043,700 new shares, representing an oversubscription rate of 24.00 times. For the public portion, a total of 5,253 applications for 342,537,500 new shares were received, giving an oversubscription rate of 27.54 times. The 9,800,000 new shares made available for application by eligible directors, employees, and persons who have contributed to the success of the Group have been fully subscribed. Another 95,800,000 shares available for application by way of private placement have also been fully placed out.

The IPO involves a public issue of 91,180,000 new shares and an offer for the sale of 38,420,000 existing shares. DS Sigma is expected to be listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 6th January 2023.
