Sale Of KL Tower To Perfume Company Will Be Investigated

Minister of Communication and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil has assured the public that his ministry will investigate the acquisition of ownership of KL Tower Management from Telekom Malaysia’s subsidiary Menara Kuala Lumpur.

There was concern about the acquisition as the company acquiring the iconic landmark in the city was a small company called Hydroshppe which on its Facebook page indicated selling oil-based perfume.

The Minister said he will be receiving a full briefing on the acquisition from TM on January 3, after receiving the same from his ministry on December 14. All details are open to be investigated he said, adding he views the issues raised on social media regarding the acquisition very seriously.
