ZUS Coffee To Expand With A Target Of 330 New Outlets By End Of 2023

ZUS Coffee plans substantial expansion of its physical outlets bringing the total number of outlets across the country to 330 by the end of 2023.

Now in its 4th year of operation, the tech-enabled coffee brand currently has 190 outlets operating and is set to open another 200 plus outlets in 2023. These new outlets will see ZUS Coffee have a presence across every state in Malaysia including selected petrol stations and airports across the country.

“We launched with the ambition of making specialty coffee affordable and accessible to all. This is clearly a message that resonates with Malaysians and has seen the rapid growth of ZUS Coffee. 2023 will see us more than double our number of outlets, the second year in a row in which we have been able to do this. As we like to say, coffee is not a luxury — it’s a necessity, and our new outlets will make it easier for all to access it— from grabbing a morning cup on the way to work to treating your colleagues after a long day, or even just offering a space to meet and spend time together,” shared Venon Tian, Chief Operating Officer.

Alongside its ambitions to deliver affordable specialty coffee to all Malaysians, the expansion also drives one of ZUS Coffee’s other core tenets – creating more job opportunities for Malaysians. In 2022 ZUS Coffee created 1,500 jobs for Malaysians, supplemented by the launch of its ZUS Coffee Academy in Tropicana Gardens Mall which looks to upskill and develop young talent. With this expansion, ZUS Coffee looks to double the number of jobs created as well.

“As a homegrown brand, creating jobs for Malaysians has always been a priority for us. We want to do our part to enrich the lives of as many Malaysians as possible – whether it be through coffee or careers. Our expansion is a major milestone for us as it helps us achieve both,” Venon continued.

In addition to the expansion plans, ZUS Coffee has also announced an exclusive partnership with the food delivery platform, foodpanda, effective this month. This now offers customers the option of ordering ZUS Coffee via the ZUS app as well as via foodpanda delivery platform.

New expansions are also developing in the brand’s menu as ZUS Coffee gears up to usher in Ramadan, with a brand new beverage series to be unveiled soon.
