Selangor has the highest holding or property ownership in Malaysia with almost two million properties, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said of that amount, 1.2 million are of commercial and individual ownership.
“While 500,000 are holdings in strata ownership or multi-story ownership, as a whole almost of 1.8 million or almost two million own property in the state. The MB believes with the ongoing projects throughout Selangor, ownership of property can reach two million within two to three years from now. Hence the state has developed OSC PTGS for the Land Office where the system can help speed up various land-related matters.
Among the services offered to customers are related to the delivery of land and strata handover documents, handover collection, and payment of land tax and fees.
Selangor recently upgraded the Land Office with new equipment and self-service kiosks for payments.
