Sunway Construction has received a second supplemental agreement from Sunway Quay for the construction of a commercial mixed development project in Sunway South Quay Bandar Sunway.
This refers to the initial letter or award back in 2020 and subsequently the first supplemental agreement in 2021 for the same project which now includes additional scope of works into the Principal Agreement.
With the additional works, an additional contract sum of RM606.6 million has been agreed by the parties, in addition to the earlier announced contract sum of RM755.7 million making up the new revised contract sum for the South Quay Square Project to RM1.36 billion. The additional works are expected to be completed within 31 months by 31 October 2025.
The total new projects secured by SunCon Group this year, including Additional Works for the South Quay Square Project, amounted to RM1,269.2 million.
