Half Day Trading Of Derivatives For Friday

Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd (Bursa Malaysia) announced half-day trading only for the morning trading session on Friday, 21 April ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday.

In a statement issued today, it said there were no transactions during the midday trading session.

Bursa Malaysia offices will continue to open at midday on April 21, 2023, he said.

“Despite the shortened trading hours, all references to ‘Business Day’ according to Bursa Malaysia Derivatives rules for trading purposes on 21 April 2023 will be considered as a single business day ending according to the modified trading hours,” it said.

In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Bursa Malaysia will be closed on Monday, 24 April 2023 and will reopen on Tuesday, 25 April 2023.

However, it said since the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday is subject to official announcement, he will inform the industry if there is any change in the announced date.
