Teladan Housing Project In Melaka To Be Solar Ready

Teladan Setia Group Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with solar photovoltaic service provider, Micro Energy Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd to install solar PV systems in its Taman Bertam Heights Phase 2A Gated and Guarded housing development project in Melaka.

Through this collaboration, solar PV systems ranging from 2 kilowatt-peak (“KWp”) to 4KWp will be installed for 352 housing units within the said development. These solar-ready homes are expected to significantly reduce electricity costs for homeowners, potentially resulting in savings of up to 75%.

Teladan has appointed MEH as the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (“EPCC”) provider for the project. MEH has extensive experience in delivering comprehensive solar PV systems solutions for residential, commercial and industrial users.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the housing development project is expected to be launched in the third quarter of the financial year ended 2023 (“3Q2023”) and to be completed by 2026.
