IGB Issues Statement On Mid Valley Fire

Mid Valley City has issued a statement with regards to the fire that broke out in the mall today (17 May) confirming the incident that took place at 10:30 at the external TNB substation adjacent to the east facade of the megamall.

The management has confirmed that there was no personal harm or injuries and that the fire department has since managed to contain the fire and eventually put it out. Consequently, the power supply to the mall has been disrupted and the mall has been closed for 17 May.

It has also informed that all tenants of the mall, hotel, and offices within the mall’s vicinity have been evacuated.
