Air Selangor Says Bukit Cerakah Pipe Burst Fixed, Water Supply To Resume In Stages

Selangor state water management agency, Air Selangor says the burst pipe at Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Bandar Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, has been fixed at 3 am today and water supply to areas hit by an unscheduled water cut should resume in stages.

The agency in a statement today said the water supply is expected to be fully restored by 12 am on Wednesday (May 24) to the affected areas in Klang and Shah Alam and 9pm (Wednesday) to areas hit in Kuala Selangor.

Yesterday, emergency repair works due to a pipe burst at Jalan Bukit Cerakah were carried out at 9 am, which resulted in an unscheduled water cut to 99 areas in Shah Alam, Klang, and Kuala Selangor.
