Boeing, CAAM To Explore National Air Traffic Management System Improvements

Boeing and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) will explore initiatives to further enhance the efficiency of the country’s national air traffic management system.

The Letter of Intent, signed at the LIMA ’23, pairs Boeing’s engineering expertise with the Malaysian government’s strategic planning for its air traffic management system.

Improving airport and flight operations can help increase the safety and sustainability of Malaysia’s aviation system through more efficient movement of aircraft and reduced fuel use.

CAAM believes through this collaboration it will significantly benefit stakeholders through the increase of capacity that will accommodate more flights and attract more airlines and in return, support the growth of the aviation industry in Malaysia.
