TM Signs MyGovNet 2.0 Concession Agreement With The Government Worth RM4 Billion

TM via its wholly-owned subsidiary GITN Sdn Berhad which had accepted the Notification Letter of Implementation from the Government for MyGovNet concession 10 years earlier has now signed the MyGovNet 2.0 Concession Agreement with a value at a cap of RM4.9 billion.

The telecommunication operator said the scope of work for MyGovNet 2.0 Services is to provide a secured integrated telecommunication network for the Government that connects more than 10,000 Government premises in Malaysia and Malaysian Embassies overseas. This is a secured and dedicated Government network integrated with the intranet, internet, Government Campus Network, and Public Sector Data Centre.

TM said the project will not have any effect on the issued share capital and the substantial shareholders’
shareholdings of TM.
